Frequently asked questions about the online chemical database
---------------------------------------------------------------
What is the uvex glove expert? The uvex Glove Expert consists of two parts, the **chemical** database and the **gloves plan designer.**
In the **chemical database** , you can select the chemical that you currently use from more than 50,000 chemicals and compare it with all uvex chemical protective gloves to find the right glove for your activity.
You can create your own glove plan in the **gloves plan designer**. Here you can choose from all uvex and HexArmor safety gloves. You can also create your own gloves and incorporate them into your glove plan.
Can I create individual search queries? Yes, you can select any number of chemicals and combine them with any number of uvex safety gloves. A range of filter functions facilitates this selection.
What happens if there is no permeation data for the chemical I have searched for? You can get in touch with our uvex chemical protection experts at our centre of expertise in Lueneburg and receive individual support. A contact form is available in the uvex glove expert.
Is there a charge for using the Glove Expert? No — as a registered user, you can use the database at no cost. Costs are only incurred if an individual order is placed, depending on the level of complexity. We are happy to inform you of any costs on request.
Is the glove plan designer part of the new uvex glove expert? Yes, the gloves plan designer is now a separate area in Glove Expert alongside the chemical database.
I already have a CES login, do I need to register again? Yes, for technical reasons, you must register again in the new uvex glove expert. But don't worry — this process is simple and intuitive, as is the entire application.
